EARNEST OF INHERITANCE CHURCH BIOGRAPHY

Earnest of Inheritance Church was founded on June 25th, 2022, in Green Bay, WI. It was founded by Miles Farmer, Pastor, Denise Farmer Church Secretary/Board of Directors, Helen Ramsey Financial Committee Board of Directors, Charlene Hayes, Board of Directors, Harold Webster, Board of Directors/Financial Committee, Paula Jackson, Church Secretary and Tanya Metoxen, Board of Directors.

The reason the church Earnest of Inheritance was established was because most of the members came from a church that was being shut down and would have no place to fellowship any longer. There Pastor at the time held a zoom meeting, informing them all that their church, as they knew it would be closing because of a lack of money and membership.

Pastor Miles prayed and asked God to lead him in the next direction he should take now that the ministry, as we all had known it would be no more. It was then that God led him to open a new church. Although it was not easy, Pastor Miles began to search for a place where he would be able to set up God’s new Church called Earnest of Inheritance.

Earnest of Inheritance Church was established on June 25th of 2022 in a small location on 9th St in Green Bay, WI. Pastor Miles’s style of preaching went over very well with the people, and the ministry began to grow. His vision to do more work in the community and with his congregation led him to move the congregation to a new location.

Upon moving the ministry from 9th St to a larger Church on Velp St, the ministry was able to have more services and provide meals after service for its members. The church was also able to help many members of the community with food, gas cards, bus passes, clothing, rent, and security deposits to landlords just to name a few.

However, the Pastor’s heart was still heavy for outreach ministries and that lead him to move the church to its current location at 1583 Main St. Green Bay, WI. 54302.

It is here where Pastor Miles along with an incredibly supportive volunteer staff, was able to open a warming center for Green Bay’s homeless population. A place where the homeless come once the shelters put them out for the morning.

At the warming center, they were able to freshen up, get toiletries, clean clothes, a nice meal, hot coffee, a place to rest if they were tired, computers to use to look for housing and jobs, and transportation to and from job interviews and etc.

Here soon, we will be celebrating our 6th year anniversary as a Church.

Although the warming center has since officially closed its doors, the Pastor still has a vision for the growth of the ministry and continues to seek the face of God for the direction of the Church. The flock has grown from the faithful 5 to over 50 on any given Sunday and the numbers continue to grow in Sunday School as well as weekly bible studies.

Looking ahead Pastor continues to study and remain committed to spreading the gospel, counseling his flock, and an outreach ministry that will continue to grow leaps and bounds.
